I’ve tried to keep it clean and fairly dry, but of course that’s impossible with the soap sitting in it. Maybe there is a type of soap that keeps it from rusting? And if it’s already starting to rust, is there a way to restore it or make it look better?
Please answer the question and don’t comment on what kind of dish I should buy.

Because of hygiene, no offense since they are very respectable, I would not consider calling a plumber. Really.
